Elie's life after the Holocaust was very sad but also magnificent. After all the camps were liberated Elie saw his sisters, Hilda and Beatrice, and they made it through the rest of this teenage years together. In 1955 Elie moved to The United States Of America. He made a life out of his old ruined life. He loved to write. In 1986 Elie won the Nobel-Prize for speaking out and literature. He had many achievements in his life, but that was by far the best. To this day Elie and his wife, Marion, live in New York City.
